Dr. George Lam

Co-Founder | Chairman

Dr. Lam is a champion for digital transformation, innovation and entrepreneurship, tech investment, sustainable development, and international exchange and cooperation. He has served in senior roles in telecommunications and media, infrastructure and real estates, energy and resources, healthcare, technology, banking and finance, and professional services, with companies including Bell Canada, Hong Kong Telecom, A.T. Kearney, Singapore Technologies Telemedia, Bank of China International, CP Group, Macquarie Capital, Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets, and Macquarie Group Asia. Dr. Lam is also the immediate past Chairman of Cyberport, Hong Kong’s digital technology flagship and global innovation and start-ups hub.

Mr. Zeen Chen

Co-Founder | CEO

Mr. Chen is a veteran investment banker and private banking executive. Prior to co-founding Cotton Tree Capital, he was Department Head of Private Banking at East West Bank and a member of Greater China Leadership Team. He was also Asia Pacfic Head of Lending & Deposits at Credit Suisse Private Banking and a member of APAC Banking Committee. Mr. Chen began his career as Insurance Securitization Analyst with Citi Global Markets in New York and rejoined Citi Investment Banking in Hong Kong as Senior Associate in the Financial Institutions Group after graduate school. He made the career switch to Private Banking and rose through ranks to regional product leadership at Citi Private Bank and Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management.

Parker Zhou

Co-Founder | President & CIO

Mr. Zhou is a seasoned private equity and venture capital investor in China's hi-tech space. He is the founder and Chairman of Shenzhen-based private equity HE Fund, specialized in 3C, semiconductor, and AI. Prior to co-founding Cotton Tree Capital, he was Partner of Morgan Stanley Private Equity’s RMB fund, member of Investment Committee and founding partner of Shenzhen Office. He was also a first-generation investment director of Shenzhen Capital Group, where he sponsored and managed two RMB billion-dollar industry investment funds. He has invested more than US$1 billion in rising starts of China’s frontier tech sector including AI, with current enterprise value over US$15 billion and many of which achieved successful IPOs.
